Studio A is a 1500 square ft. open-concept tracking room, with 28 ft vaulted ceilings.
An inspiring space with sunlight streaming through stained glass windows, Studio A is an intimate and flexible environment that offers a natural church ambience and 4 isolation booths. The largest of our booths is 12’ x 8’, well suited for vocalists, guitarist, and a full drum kit. Perfect for live off-the-floor sessions with large ensembles, it's also a haven for solo acts to immerse themselves in the historic beauty and creative ambiance of this Hamilton relic.
Studio A is outfitted with MCI's legendary 500C console and racks of outboard gear including the very best of Neve, API, Tube Tech, and Universal Audio. With an extensive vintage microphone collection (Telefunken, Neumann, Sony, AKG) and access to all of our boutique instruments, amplifiers, pianos and keyboards, you’ll have lots of options to get the sound you’re searching for. The studio also features an MCI JH24 2-inch tape machine that can capture the vintage character from all of your favourite classic recordings.
